Adamantios Tegkelidis

RYS 200 Aṣṭāṅga Yoga Instructor

Adam holds a master degree in architectural design from the University of Delft and through the years found himself working as an artist or designer for various firms in Greece and the UK.

Being a runner from a very early age and with a background in Martial Arts and dance, he only crossed paths with Yoga in 2012 as a complementary physical practice to support the tension built through the competitive spirit of the aforementioned, uneven training approaches, which eventually culminated into two consequent back injuries.

While he initially started practicing Haṭha and Iyengar Yoga, he gradually shifted interest to Aṣṭāṅga because of its close connection to the traditional forms that employ all the yogic limbs i.e. Prāṇāyāma, Meditation, Yogic Philosophy.

Adam is a student of Gregor Maehle and Monica Gauci.
